In-Situ Helps in Assessing Groundwater Resources in Uganda In-Situ has donated two of their Rugged TROLL 100 data loggers and two Rugged BaroTROLL's to the Uganda Water Project. The BaroTROLLs record atmospheric pressure, which is used to adjust the transducer data so they refect only water level changes due to groundwater fuctuations. One of the In-Situ transducers was installed in the Moroto West well in northern Uganda, a very remote area of the country. The water level and water temperature data from this trans- ducer will give Tom Osborne and his crew from HydroSo- lutions information on the groundwater response to the an- nual wet and dry seasons, and will also reveal the times and amount of daily use of the well by the community.
