Prior to being at CLS, he worked for 28 years at NOAA, where he developed and tested numerous advanced technology ocean instruments. ESC Global Security has elected Jaanus Rahumagi as one of the new members of the Security Association for the Mari- time Industry (SAMI) Steering Group. Rahumagi will represent Europe and Russia as one of three members from that region. MetOcean Data Systems has promoted Emily MacPherson to director of sales. MacPherson brings 11 years' experience in the environmental, meteorological and oceanographic feld, coupled with more than 10 years of brand marketing and sales experience. She will be responsible for expanding sales opportunities and managing day-to-day responsibili- ties of MetOcean's sales team. Josh Bauer has been promoted to service manager at Jet Edge Inc. Bauer began his career with the Minnesota water- jet systems manufacturer in 2005. He will be responsible for managing all aspects of Jet Edge's waterjet service depart- ment and customer support. Borets has named David Langley as North American HSE man- ager. Langley has more than 15 years' experience in occupa- tional health and safety management. He will be responsible for developing and implementing safety programs and policies that align with the company's corporate standards for health, safety and environment compliance. Parag Jain has been appointed chief executive offcer of Gulf Navigation Holding. Jain has more than 20 years' experi- ence in the marine and maritime industry. He is expected to help steer the company's journey toward more growth and development. Oceaneering International Inc. has named Martin J. Mc- Donald as senior vice president of ROVs. McDonald's ca- reer spans 26 years with Oceaneering, most recently as vice president and general manager since 2006. He will be responsible for managing the company's initiatives to innovate and develop future ROV and AUV capabilities. Furuno has announced Jon Closson as fsheries and spe- ciality products sales representative and Bart Disher as commercial sales representative for the Gulf Region and West Coast. Closson will bring his knowledge to the fsh- ing feets of the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic. Disher will take an active role in commercial project sales through- out the western United States.
