The vessel, Bibby WaveMaster 1, will under- take offshore wind project work in the North Sea. Damen Shipyards Group. Fugro, Leidschendam, Netherlands, has been awarded a combined geophysical and geotechnical project to assist in ac- tivities in the northern Carnarvon Basin offshore northwest Australia. Work will include seabed and shallow geological investigations. Hess Exploration Austra- lia Pty Ltd. Parker Bestobell Marine, Sheffield, Eng- land, has received its first order to supply cryogenic fuel gas valves for newbuild tankers. The ships will be equipped with dual-fuel engines allowing them to op- erate on LNG and fuel oil, via 600-cbm gas storage tanks on the decks. Once built, they will serve the U.S. Great Lakes and Canada's St. Lawrence River. Groupe Desgagnès. Tuco Marine APS, Faaborg, Denmark, has been named a collaborator and exclusive representative for the ProZe- ro boats series in Greece, Cyprus and Egypt. The core idea is to deliver vessels that are competitive on parameters like delivery time and customization. Fran- man SA. McMurdo, Portsmouth, England, has been selected for Africa's first next-gen- eration MEOSAR search and rescue sys- tem. The contract is valued at more than €4 million, with a performance period of 16 months. The system will include satellite ground stations, mission control and rescue coordination centers. Undis- closed. Willard Marine, Anaheim, California, has received an order to produce a 33- ft., fiberglass harbor patrol boat based on the iconic Crystaliner boat design. Its large open deck is ideal for search and rescue missions, law enforcement safety and firefighting operations. Oceanside Police Department. Ashtead Technology, Aberdeen, Scot- land, has secured an agreement to sup- ply seamless video streaming and data transmissions for large-scale, wireless dynamic mesh networks from its offices around the globe. nCentric. ABS Group, Houston, Texas, has been awarded a contract to develop an intel- ligent maintenance strategy for the new fleet of floating LNG vessels utilizing the GoFLNG floating liquefaction technol- ogy. They will assist in implementing the Maximo computerized maintenance management system. Golar LNG. iSURVEY AS, Billingstad, Norway, has received a multiyear frame agreement to provide navigation, positioning and sur- vey support for its cable lay operations on board the CS Nexans Skagerrak. They will also provide monitoring services during cable lay and trenching opera- tions. Nexans Norway AS. C-Innovation, Mandeville, Louisiana, has ordered four AUVs. The two HU- GIN AUVs are depth rated to 4,500 m, while the two MUNIN AUVs are rated to 1,500 m. All are equipped with the latest sonar. Kongsberg Maritime. Lloyd's Register, London, England, is partnering with experts to measure un- derwater sound propagation for the Horns Rev 3 wind farm substation de- velopment. The wind farm off the west coast of Denmark is expected to gen- erate green power for some 450,000 households. Energinet.dk. Nautilus Minerals, Toronto, Canada, has signed agreements to provide sup- port services associated with wet testing seafloor production equipment as it is delivered from various suppliers prior to integration onto the production support vessel. United Engineering Services LLC. Peterson, Aberdeen, Scotland, has se- cured a five-year contract that enables greater focus on delivering sustainable cost-saving concepts and systems. They will deliver a comprehensive logistics approach including warehousing, in- ventory control, transport and walk-to- work support. Maersk Oil. TSGIT Advanced Systems Ltd.,TelAviv, Israel, has announced the deployment of its real-time maritime intelligence so- lution. The 2C system provides situation- al awareness of maritime environments to support counter-piracy, Exclusive Economic Zone protection, and coastal surveillance missions. Undisclosed.
