MAVS-5-Model w/Enhanced Features OPTIONS Pressure, Temperature, Conductivity, Turbidity, RS-485, 90 Deg Right Angle Bent Sensor, Power and Comm Box, Mooring Frame, Sensor Guard Cage, Long Cable for Real Time Data Transmission, 1 Gigabyte Logging Memory Option All NOBSKA Current Meters are Single Point Meters and utilize the Differential Travel Time measuring technique. This technique does not require scatterers in the water to make the measurement. A major benefit: you can measure the smallest currents in any kind of water–clear, turbid, fresh or saline. Another benefit is that the circular faired rings support the sensors, keep wake turbulence at a minimum and provide an ideal cosine response. Another major feature is the THROW-AND- GO operation whereby either you or we can preset the MAVS for its deployment schedule in the lab and then simply deploy it at the most convenient time.
