Triton's Investment in DeepOcean Completed DeepOcean Group Holding B.V. has announced an in- vestment by Triton in the company that was completed at the end of December 2016. Through the substantial equity raise and the future support of Triton, DeepOcean should be able to weather any downturn in the oil and gas markets and take advantage of growth opportunities in the industry. OSIL to Expand In-House Facilities OSIL have expanded their U.K.-based in-house facilities to include an in-house engineering and CNC machining department. The equipment in the new department includes XYZ full cad cam lathes (with capacity up to 425-mm diameter by 200-mm length) turning centers and vertical machining centers (up to 1,200-mm X travel and 650-mm Y travel), manual lathes and vertical mills. The division also uses full 2017 Solidworks and One CNCXR6 Cam Software. ClassNK Opens New Survey Offices in Izmir and Mersin ClassNK has opened exclusive survey offices in Izmir and Mersin, Turkey. The number of surveys and audits re- quired in recent years in western and southern Turkey have been increasing. The opening of these two offices improves the efficiency of its ship surveys and audits along the southwestern part of Turkey. KROHNE Marine's EcoMATE MRV System Independently Certified by Verifavia Verifavia has fully certified KROHNE Marine's EcoMATE MRV against the European Union's Monitoring, Report- ing and Verification requirements. EcoMATE MRV enables shipowners to monitor all vessel types within the fleet with a single integrated tool. It accommodates both manual and online data entry to monitor operational data per voyage, conduct data quality checks and validations, and generate annual reports on a per vessel basis. Portable 18-Man HRF Delivered to JFD JFD, a part of James Fisher and Sons plc, has accepted the delivery of a portable 18-man hyperbaric rescue facility (HRF) that will offer offshore operators an encompassing solution for hyperbaric reception across the whole of the U.K. This service provides a cost-effective solution by capi- talizing on asset-sharing benefits, and also aims to increase safety. The portable system is now available for hire and can be transported and stored on standby at a nominated port of recovery, allowing clients to minimize SPHL/HRC travel distance and time as part of their hyperbaric rescue plan.
