Helle will be re- sponsible for the leadership and de- velopment of 2H globally, focusing on evolving and expanding new business opportunities, particularly life extension, abandonment and marginal field devel- opments. He replaces Tim Eyles, who is moving to the role of vice president with parent company Acteon. Nigel Lees has been named chairman of the board by Decom North Sea. As vice president responsible for decommission- ing at Wood Group, Lees has amassed many years of experience and has been an active board member for Decom North Sea the last five years. Lees' elec- tion follows Callum Falconer stepping down after two years on the board. Gibbs & Cox Inc. have promoted Kevin Prince to vice presi- dent. Prince brings more than 36 years' experience with his knowledge of the maritime industry and ship design. He will be responsible for management and execution of engineer- ing services across the company's commercial, government and international clients. OceanLED has named Charlie Stuart as global managing director and Lindsay Shapiro as marketing manager. Stuart will be responsible for implementing new business and op- erational processes while also overseeing product develop- ment. Shapiro will be primarily responsible for marketing, public relations, media relations, social media and events in the U.S. Matthew Jankowski has joined IOMAXIS as senior vice pres- ident. Jankowski brings more than 25 years' experience in the areas of military, federal and intelligence communities. He will build out the company's business development func- tion to a growing customer base. Torqueedo welcomes Mike Shafar and Jim Sinnott as sales managers. Shafar has more than 14 years' experience and will be responsible for managing and growing Torqueedo's North American OEM, retail and distribution business. Sin- nott has more than 20 years' experience and will be respon- sible for strengthening and supporting the company's dealer network. Chesapeake Marine Training Institute (CMTI) has named Amanda Symonds president. Symonds takes over after in- vesting more than 16 years at CMTI. Some of her plans in- clude increasing the variety of courses offered with the abil- ity to incorporate distance learning via online programs. Human Rights at Sea has named Rachel Sexton as a trustee. Sexton brings more than 20 years' experience and is a partner in the fraud investigations and dispute services practice at EY in London.
