Singtel, Singapore, has entered a stra- tegic partnership to enhance maritime cybersecurity using Trustwave's unified threat management (UTM) solution. The UTM service offers a suite of cybersecu- rity defenses such as advance firewall, anti-virus, intrusion prevention and Web-filtering. Inmarsat. Fugro, Aberdeen, Scotland, has signed on to supply ROV drilling support ser- vices on board the Ocean Guardian MODU. They will carry out drilling and completion projects at the Western Isles developments in the northern North Sea. Dana Petroleum (E&P;) Ltd. Sparrows Group, Aberdeen, Scotland, has entered into a five-year contract to deliver cranes and maintenance servic- es at the Mariner development on the U.K. Continental Shelf. This includes crane operator personnel to support drilling, operations, maintenance and logistics. Statoil. Kelvin Hughes, London, England, has agreed to supply X and S band SharpEye radar systems for a range of new vessels. SharpEye provides a level of maritime situational awareness and can identify objects with a low radar cross section even in the most severe weather condi- tions. Royal Oman Police Coast Guard. Harkand, Aberdeen, Scotland, has secured a scope of work in the North Sea. They will deliver a pipeline inspec- tion campaign across the northern and central North Sea. The campaign is ex- pected to begin in summer 2016 and will include project management and engineering services. TAQA. William Jacob Management, Houston, Texas, has been awarded a contract to complete the detailed engineering and design of its first mobile offshore sup- port services vessel, the MOSS V. The vessel is a heavy-duty jack-up drilling rig, converted to a self-propelled vessel. Northpoint Marine LLC. Teledyne RD Instruments, Poway, Cali- fornia, has received an order for 10 custom-designed Explorer Doppler ve- locity logs (DVL) to provide Iver3-580 AUV navigation. The Explorer DVL pro- vides flexible solutions for high-quality navigation aboard small underwater platforms. OceanServer Technology. McMurdo, Portsmouth, England, has entered into a three-year contract to be a global distributor and key provider of maintenance and repair services through its worldwide network of service and dis- tribution centers. It will also include joint development of solutions. Survitec. Bibby Offshore, Aberdeen, Scotland, has been awarded a multimillion-pound contracts contract to deliver decommissioning operations in the northern North Sea East Shetland Basin. The agreement will utilize one of the construction support vessels with adequate deck space and crane capabilities to execute opera- tions. Undisclosed. Teledyne Odom Hydrographic, Baton Rouge, Louisiana, has delivered 11 MB2 multibeam echosounders with integrated POSMV, along with Tele- dyne PDS software. Over the next few months, the 11 systems will be installed on vessels around Indonesia. Indone- sian Ministry of Marine Transport. SENER, Madrid, Spain, has entered into a contract for the implementation of the shipbuilding CAD/CAM system FORAN. It was selected for its excellent functionality, covering all stages from conceptual design to production de- sign. Lee Shipyard Co., Ltd. Wärtsilä Corp., Helsinki, Finland, will supply Nacos Platinum navigation, automation and propulsion control systems for 27 new container vessels under construction at yards in China and South Korea.
