Previously, McIntyre worked as a safety represen- tative after three years as a technician. He will lead a team of more than 20 staff to deliver crisis and continuity management support to clients in the U.K. and Europe. The Society of Naval Architects and Ma- rine Engineers has named Dennis Fan- guy the recipient of the 2015 William M. Kennedy Award for outstanding service and contribution in the development of systems and planning applying to ship- building and repair. The award will be given November 6 at the World Maritime Technology Con- ference/SNAME Maritime Convention President's Luncheon in Providence, Rhode Island. Samson announced the retiring of CEO Tony Bon after 41 years with the company as of January 1, 2016. Andrea Sturm has been appointed Bon's successor. Sturm comes to Samson with a strong background in international busi- ness management, product management, new product de- velopment, and marketing and sales. Oceaneering International Inc. has appointed Suzanne Spera as director of investor relations. Spera's career spans more than 15 years for energy companies, and she will provide strategic insight on competitive dynamics and market trends. Horizon Marine has hired Drew Gustafson as a metocean analyst. Gustafson's experience in data processing, numeri- cal modeling and remote sensing provides additional man- power and depth to continue to serve clients. Aquatic Engineering and Construction Inc. appointed Martin Charles as group managing director. Charles will be build- ing on the collective achievements of the leadership team by continuing to meet the needs of the challenging market environment. Thrustmaster of Texas has announced the addition of Bart Vonk as sales manager of Thrustmaster Middle East FZE, based out of Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Vonk has a rich background in technical solution sales, having worked as a sales engineer, sales manager and area man- ager throughout his career. Dometic Group has announced the promotion of Ned Trigg to executive vice president of the Marine Division. Trigg will serve as the business leader for the Marine OEM and Aftermarket Divisions for the Americas region, in- cluding sales, application engineering, customer service, manufacturing operations and new product development strategies.
