All the products are de- signed and manufactured at their U.K.-based factory and exported worldwide. Ocean Marine Systems designs per- form alongside and complement technology from subsea instrument manufacturers. Entrepose Strengthens Position in Asia Entrepose (Colombes, France) has completed the acqui- sition of Jakarta, Indonesia-based company PT Istana Karang Laut (IKL). IKL has expertise in both onshore and offshore activities, notably through the design and manufacture of oil and gas production process modules and metering systems, as well as turnkey project management under engineering, pro- curement, construction and commissioning contracts. The company has 130 employees and generates revenue of around €30 million. Millennium Falcon Launches X-Wing Into Marine World The long-term effect of renewable energy installations on marine animals is to be investigated by researchers at Wash- ington University. The instrumentation package to achieve this comes in a specially designed underwater monitoring system deployed by a Saab Seaeye (Fareham, England) Fal- con ROV. The launch and delivery platform was dubbed the "Mil- lennium Falcon" by the researchers who saw the detach- able instrument pod—called an adaptable monitoring pack- NATO Anti-Submarine Warfare Exercise Begins NATO's Anti-Submarine Warfare Exercise Dynamic Mongoose 2015 was successfully completed off the coast of Norway, with ships, submarines, aircraft and personnel from 10 allied nations and one partner nation converging on the Norwegian Sea for anti-submarine and anti-surface warfare training. Submarines from Germany, Norway, Sweden and the United States, under operational control of NATO Sub- marine Command, joined 13 surface ships from Canada, Germany, France, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Spain, Turkey, the United Kingdom and the United States. Imtech Marine Renews DNV GL Approval Imtech Marine (Rotterdam, Netherlands) was awarded the three-year DNV GL (Høvik, Norway) global certifcation renewal. It concerns inspection and testing of radio com- munication equipment, automatic identifcation systems, and testing and inspection of voyage data recorders. Imtech Marine is the frst service supplier to achieve a global sur- veying certifcate from DNV GL since the two classifcation societies merged in September 2013.
