Sessions The HYPACK USA Training Event is an essential, low-cost method to receive compre- hensive instruction in HYPACK, DREDGEPACK and HYSWEEP software. This training is benefcial to all as we provide a general training session for those who are just beginning to use HYPACK or those who wish to have a re- fresher. There are also expert sessions scheduled for in-depth training on a particular subject. If you need help with an individual issue or question, one-on-one sessions with our T he HYPACK 2015 USA Training Event will be held in San Antonio, Texas, January 5 to 8, 2015. The Hyatt Regency San Antonio River Walk will be providing accommodations and hosting our annual event. This hotel is situated directly on the San Antonio River Walk and is just steps away from the historic Alamo. Updated Software During this event, we will reveal the newest version of our software, HYPACK 2015. Some of the big changes in HYPACK 2015 will be the new 3D real-time point cloud, water column integration, and a new anchor-handling rou- tine. Other new features included are: enhanced topographic laser capabilities; integration of Leica and FARO topograph- ic laser system; support for multiple navigation devices; export for 3D printers; vec- tor-scaled soundings in HY- PACK SHELL and HYPLOT (WYSIWYG); multiple off- sets for rig moves in HYPACK SURVEY; updated IENC pre- sentation to latest standard; Google Glass helmsman display; real-time capture for GoPro and Nikon cam- eras; enhanced targeting of side scan sonar in HYSCAN; unicode implementation to support foreign language characters and update of translation texts; enhanced remote viewing allowing for viewing and control of HY- PACK SURVEY on a tablet; and updated DREDGEPACK interface for cranes.
