Olender joined AML in October of 2011 and is now taking the helm of the entire engineering team. He has experience in technical project management, product development and research. Jerome Shaw has been named vice president of marine construction for Chet Morrison Contractors LLC (Houma, Louisiana). Shaw's background includes more than 20 years of experience in the oilfeld marine service lines. He takes over for Brett Blanchard, who has been named to Chet Morrison Contractors' board of managers. Hella Marine (Auckland, New Zealand) has appointed Adam Ramsden to the position of sales manager for Europe, focusing primarily on Belgium, Denmark, France, Holland, Norway, Portugal, Spain, Sweden and the U.K. An experi- enced sales and marketing professional, Ramsden special- izes in international business development and client man- agement. Teledyne Marine Systems (Falmouth, Massachusetts) an- nounced that Andrey K. Morozov, senior scientist, has been elevated to the grade of senior member of the IEEE. Senior member is the highest professional grade of the IEEE for which a member may apply. Lesley Maxwell has been appointed group human resources manager and Nick Knight has been named business devel- opment manager for InterMoor Marine Services Ltd. (Hous- ton, Texas). Maxwell has more than 20 years of experience as a senior manager, and Knight has more than 12 years of experience in marine engineering. QinetiQ North America (QNA), based in Reston, Virginia, announced the appointment of Mark Lucas as director of strategic programs within the company's mission solutions business unit. Lucas will lead QNA's Patuxent River opera- tions. Dan Baldocchi will head worldwide underwater sales for Light & Motion Industries (Monterey, California). Baldocchi has worked in the dive industry for more than 20 years and is a respected authority on dive and photo/video imaging, with the knowledge to understand the technical require- ments of professional image makers. U.S. Coast Guard Vice Adm. Peter Neffenger relieved Vice Adm. John Currier as vice commandant of the Coast Guard during a change of watch ceremony at U.S. Coast Guard Headquarters, Washington, D.C.
