The 3D engine module is responsible for elaborations, implementing complex reconstruc- tion algorithms and "talking" to the previous block. The reconstruction procedures are managed through a LabVIEW Web server. LabVIEW is an icon-programming framework devel- oped by National Instruments (Aus- tin, Texas) for rapid prototyping. For this project's purposes, a Web server has been implemented in LabVIEW to work remotely on the user interface with the 3D reconstruction tool using a common browser. In addition, the PHP/HTML5 Web server can reach the 3D engine created in LabVIEW using POST requests. Results are stored in the most common modeling formats, such as PLY (Polygon File Format), OBJ + MTL, DAE (Collada), and PDF, PLY, OBJ and DAE. These formats can be easily imported and edited through common GIS and processing software, including MeshLab and open source, and are available for multiple plat- forms. Users decide when to start this process, using both the Android ap- plication and Web interface, while the PHP Web server manages such com- mands. Cloud Manager. An added value of this project is the notifcation system, which allows the user to be informed of the operation's progress. To this end, the architecture has been integrated with Google Cloud Messaging (GCM), a free service that helps developers to send data from servers to their Android applications. The scuba diver held the camera approximately 40 centimeters above the substratum and progressed freely around the locations.
